This free program loans large print and audiobooks by mail to people with special needs who can’t regularly visit a local library.

BOOK CLUB KITS

Interested in starting a book club? Order a kit through the system by keyword searching “Book Group Kit”  in the online catalog. Feel free to come in and we would be happy to show you a complete list of titles available. Each kit includes multiple copies of the book in regular print, and when available large print and audiobook. The kit also includes book summaries and reviews, author bios and possible questions to lead discussion.

TALKING BOOKS (NY State Talking Book & Braille Library Cultural Education Center)

A free program available to people unable to read standard printed materials. Includes recorded books, machines to play them, and braille books. Contact the library for more information.
